Holtzapffel A-18 Rosette

The A-18 rosette is a series of sine waves wrapped around a circle.

This rosette was developed in combination with the 9-lobed one requested by Charles Schrock for use on segmented pieces.

  • A smaller diameter on the object results in surfaces which have sharper curves at the apexes of the curves.

  • A larger diameter on the object reverses this.

  • An amplitude adjuster can be used to modify these effects.
