Holtzapffel D-12 Rosette

The Holtzapffel D-12 rosette is a series of convex arcs wrapped around a circle.

Note: The Holtzapffel D series of rosettes are the opposite configuration from the Holtzapffel C series of rosettes. The C series design can be achieved by:

  • A smaller diameter on the object results in surfaces which have sharper curves at the apexes of the curves.

  • A larger diameter on the object reverses this.

  • An amplitude adjuster can be used to modify these effects.
